Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians to support electrical, instrumentation, and control applications across the paper mill operations. You will maintain PLC/DCS, drives, power distribution, motors, and I/O devices to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a technical degree or journeyman cert, and the ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment. A 12-hour rotating 4-on 4-off shift may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or journeyman in industrial E&I with relevant experience.
• Paper mill or industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting of sensors, switches, controllers, instrumentation, transmitters, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to instrumentation and electrical control for paper mill operations.
• Support PLCs, HMI, Drives, and other control systems.
• Assist with 13.8 kV power distribution, substations, MCCs, and motors.
• Maintain programs and update schematics, drawings, and documentation.
• Support reliability programs like thermography and motor/power analysis.
• Participate in daily activities, shutdowns, and capital projects related to process controls and E&I.
