Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. in Morrilton, AR seeks an E&I Supervisor/Planner to lead safety initiatives and optimize electrical and instrumentation maintenance, improving equipment reliability and uptime.

You will plan daily and long-term work, work with cross-functional teams, and align maintenance with broader plant goals. The role emphasizes reducing downtime through predictive technologies and continuous improvement, while developing skilled technicians and ensuring a safe, compliant work

Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree in electrical engineering is preferred; experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
• The Electrical Maintenance Superintendent should have at least 5 years of progressively more accountable electrical and instrumentation experience, ideally within the paper industry.
• Candidates from outside the paper industry should have similar experience in a highly automated, heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and ensure a productive, accident-free work environment.
• Manage day-to-day and long-range planning, prioritization, and execution of electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities.
• Improve equipment reliability and optimize maintenance strategies.
• Support cross-functional teams to align maintenance objectives with broader plant goals.
• Reduce preventive maintenance in favor of predictive technologies to improve systems and mill performance.
• Maintain asset quality and manufacturing reliability, minimizing downtime.
• Develop and mentor frontline craftspeople and encourage skill expansion into advanced control strategies.
