Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team, seated 100% on site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The role focuses on RMF A&A packages, continuous monitoring, and system testing for DoD platforms.

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required. A bachelor's in Cybersecurity is preferred and 2–5 years of relevant experience are expected. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $156,000 USD annually.

Qualifications

• Two years program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems or five years general security engineering experience.
• Two of the five years on Combat Weapons Systems experience in Aegis, SSDS, Zumwalt, or other Navy afloat systems.
• IAT Level II or III certs required for ISSO/ISSE roles.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document system CONOPS and DoDI 8500.2 categorization from a cybersecurity perspective.
• Apply STIGs and DoD/NAS security recommendations to systems.
