Job summary

Acts Construction is seeking a Carpenter/Journeyman to join our team in Fort Washington, MD. You will perform demolition, cabinetry, metal and wood framing, drywall, finish trim installation, window and door installation, siding, and many other construction tasks using a variety of hand and power tools.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (apprenticeship preferred) and 3–5 years of construction experience; you must understand blueprints, schematics, and safety standards (OSHA)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Apprenticeship in carpentry strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in construction or maintenance.
• Understanding of blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety requirements (OSHA).
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic construction tasks: demolition, cabinetry, metal and wood framing, drywall, finish trim installation, window and door installation, siding, and related work.
• Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete tasks.
