Job summary

American National Insulation in Sumner, WA is seeking a Journeyman to install insulation and related materials on jobsites. You will read blueprints, measure, cut, and fit products while following CBAs and safety rules.

Responsibilities

  • Install insulation products per blueprints, plans and CBAs.
  • Read blueprints, measure, cut and fit materials to spec.
  • Load and unload materials and maintain a clean work area.
  • Safely operate and stage tools and equipment; conduct safety checks.
  • Travel locally to job sites and report safety or quality concerns.

Here, you are part of a company that rewards your contributions and encourages you to take ownership of your career.Job DescriptionYour ResponsibilitiesAs a Journeyman, you will be responsible for practicing best insulation practices and training insulation, plaster, sealer and spray helpers.Install products as allowed by associated collective bargaining agreement and/or project labor agreement.Understand blueprints and sketches. Measure, shape, and cut materials to specified measurements.Insulate, spray, plaster, trowel, seal, cover, wrap, staple, glue and fit insulating/sealant/foam/materials.Review your daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with all product(s), tools and equipment for the day.Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.Safely unload and stage material at job site.Report safety, customer or quality concerns.Maintain a clean work area at all times.Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned per the CBAs.Your QualificationsMinimum of 18 years of age.If operating a vehicle for Company purposes, a valid drivers’ license is requiredTHIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITIONTravel RequirementsType of Travel Required: Local; Out of town travel as required.Daily travel to job sites.Physical RequirementsAble to lift 50 lbs. unassisted to load and unload various products. Climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand to perform daily work and ladder climbing, as needed. This includes confined spaces and small areas.Compensation Range$51.44 - $51.44To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data.
