Job summary

American National Insulation is hiring a Journeyman to apply insulation and related materials on job sites in Albuquerque. You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials to spec, and install insulation, spray foam, plaster, seals, and related components.

The role requires 18+ years of age and a valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for work. Expect local travel, safety‑sensitive duties, and adherence to CBAs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Install products as allowed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement or project labor agreement.
• Understand blueprints and sketches; measure, shape, and cut materials to specified dimensions.
• Insulate, spray, plaster, trowel, seal, cover, wrap, staple, glue and fit insulating/sealant/foam/materials.
• Review the daily work schedule and ensure the truck is loaded with products, tools and equipment for the day.
• Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.
• Safely unload and stage material at the job site.
• Report safety, customer or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Perform any other duty per the CBAs.

Your Responsibilities

As a Journeyman, you will be responsible for practicing best insulation practices and training insulation, plaster, sealer and spray helpers.

• Install products as allowed by associated collective bargaining agreement and/or project labor agreement.
• Understand blueprints and sketches. Measure, shape, and cut materials to specified measurements.
• Insulate, spray, plaster, trowel, seal, cover, wrap, staple, glue and fit insulating/sealant/foam/materials.
• Review your daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with all product(s), tools and equipment for the day.
• Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.
• Safely unload and stage material at job site.
• Report safety, customer or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned per the CBAs.

Your Qualifications

Travel Requirements

Type of Travel Required: Local; Out of town travel as required.

Daily travel to job sites.

Physical Requirements

Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted to load and unload various products. Climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand to perform daily work and ladder climbing, as needed. This includes confined spaces and small areas.

Compensation Range

$22.49 - $22.49
