Job summary

American National Insulation, Inc. seeks a Journeyman insulator in Indianapolis to install insulation and related materials on commercial and industrial projects. You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and apply insulation, sealants, and related products on site.

This local, safety‑driven role emphasizes quality workmanship and adherence to CBAs where applicable. You will work as part of a team, travel locally to job sites, and maintain a clean, safe work area daily.

Qualifications

Your Responsibilities

• As a Journeyman, you will be responsible for practicing best insulation practices and training insulation, plaster, sealer and spray helpers.


• Install products as allowed by associated collective bargaining agreement and/or project labor agreement.


• Understand blueprints and sketches.


• Measure, shape, and cut materials to specified measurements.


• Insulate, spray, plaster, trowel, seal, cover, wrap, staple, glue and fit insulating/sealant/foam/materials.


• Review your daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with all product(s), tools and equipment for the day.


• Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.


• Safely unload and stage material at job site.


• Report safety, customer or quality concerns.


• Maintain a clean work area at all times.


• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned per the CBAs.

Your Qualifications

Minimum of 18 years of age.

If operating a vehicle for Company purposes, a valid drivers’ license is required THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Travel Requirements

Type of Travel Required: Local; Out of town travel as required. Daily travel to job sites.

Physical Requirements

Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted to load and unload various products.

Climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand to perform daily work and ladder climbing, as needed. This includes confined spaces and small areas.

Compensation Range

$26.24 - $26.24 To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
