Job summary

American National Insulation, Inc. is seeking an apprentice installer to install company products in accordance with work orders, manufacturer requirements and safety guidelines.

Products include insulation, fireplaces, gutters, mirrors and shelving, garage doors, windows, shower enclosures, home wrap and more. This entry-level position requires local travel to job sites, lifting up to 50 lbs, and strict adherence to safety rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• If operating a vehicle for the Company, a valid driver's license is required.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Install company products per work orders and safety guidelines.
• Handle products such as insulation, fireplaces, gutters, mirrors, shelving, doors, windows, and wraps.
• Install as allowed by CBAs.
• Review daily schedule and ensure truck is loaded with product, tools and equipment.
• Complete vehicle safety and job-site inspections.
• Unload and stage materials at job sites.
• Report safety, customer or quality concerns.
• Perform warehouse duties as required.
• Other duties as assigned per CBAs.

Job Description

Your Responsibilities

• As an apprentice, you will be responsible for all aspects of installing company products according to work order, manufacturer, quality and safety guidelines.
• Products include insulation, fireplaces, gutters, mirrors and shelving, garage doors, windows, shower enclosures, home wrap and any other products sold by the company.
• Install products as allowed by associated collective bargaining agreement and/or project labor agreement.
• Review your daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with all product(s), tools and equipment for the day.
• Complete vehicle safety, job site inspections.
• Safely unload and stage material at job site.
• Report on safety, customer or quality concerns.
• Perform warehouse-related duties as required.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned per the CBAs.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for Company purposes, a valid drivers’ license is required
• THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Travel Requirements

Type of Travel Required: Local; Out of town travel as required. Daily travel to job sites.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted to load and unload various products.
• Climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand to perform daily work and ladder climbing, as needed.

Compensation Range

Compensation Range $30.86 - $48.87 To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
