Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, valid journeyman electrician license from the Colorado Electrical Board.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills 13.2 KV and less.
• Experience with advanced lighting controls and motor controls.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Teams, email, and Excel.
• Written and verbal technical communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on complex electrical jobs.
• Knowledge of NFPA70 and NFPA70E.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair campus secondary electrical circuits, systems, and equipment.
• Perform work on campus outside lighting systems and components, including new installations and alterations.
• Install and remodel campus electrical equipment and systems as requested by external departments.
• Train and certify on 13.2 KV underground distribution systems and related equipment.
• Review drawings, update inventory on parts and equipment, and provide design/construction support for outages.
