UPS is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team in the United States. You will maintain a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers. Vehicles may use diesel, gasoline or alternative fuels such as CNG, LNG, and propane in some locations.

Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts is required. Required tools, strong diagnostic skills, and safe work practices are essential.

Competenze

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.
• Class A/B or A CDL preferred.
• Dependable with regular and timely attendance and ability to work varying shifts.

Mansioni

• Meets D.O.T requirements as required by the job.
• Operate vehicles and equipment; use power and pneumatic tools.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair diverse fleet vehicles and trailers.
• Work with various propulsion systems including diesel, gasoline and alternative fuels.
