Sage Publishing in North America is seeking a Journals Sales Partner to manage Premier Active Renewals, aiming for consistent year-over-year revenue uplift across journal package renewals. The role focuses on retaining accounts, upgrading customers, and identifying growth opportunities with guidance from senior colleagues.

In this role, you will maintain clear communications, uphold documentation, and keep the CRM updated.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in sales, renewals, or account management in scholarly publishing.
• Familiarity with Open Access publishing trends.
• Experience with CRM tools and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Premier Active Renewals in North America to drive year-over-year uplift.
• Upgrade accounts to current journal packages aligned with offerings.
• Respond to requests on the same business day with reliability.
• Provide status updates to management for visibility.
• Support OA conversations and publishing model transitions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on revenue and relationships.
• Improve workflows to boost efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date renewal documentation and CRM records.
• Keep CRM data accurate for renewal status and pipeline.
• Adopt new CRM features and contribute to sales tech protocols.
