Job summary

SMX is seeking a Logistics Specialist / Property Book Manager to support material supply chain operations and JPBO for SOCPAC. The role involves managing property accountability systems, inventory, and audits while coordinating with SOCOM and DLA partners.

Responsibilities include lifecycle management, global shipping, and hands-on support to SOCPAC. Travel is required; MHE operation and MFP compliance are key aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• Clearance must be TS/SCI.
• Minimum 2 years in property book management in a joint military environment.
• Minimum 1 year with SOF property management; familiarity with MFP 11.
• Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS as required.
• Strong verbal and written communication to brief senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Operate property accountability systems (ELMS, S-PBUSE, GCSS-Army).
• Manage force structure data, UICs, and DoDAACs using SOCOM SOLMAN, AESIP.
• Lead inventories (100% baseline, cyclic, sensitive items).
• Maintain FIAR readiness and perform internal testing for audits.
• Archive KSDs and GFP tracking; oversee disposal and turn-ins.
• Coordinate global shipping, distribution, and real-time logistics tracking.
• Provide daily JPBO and SOCPAC support and liaison with stakeholders.
• Support life-cycle management from receipt to disposition and documentation.
