Job summary

East Ayrshire Council in Kilmarnock seeks a joiner repairs operative to support Housing Asset Services. The role contributes to the delivery of joiner repairs and attends appointments to help deliver the Council’s Community Plan and Best Value objectives.

This is a full-time temporary post at Kilmarnock Depot, 37 hours per week: Mon–Thu 8.00–16.00, Fri 8.00–15.30. Salary £34,324–£36,748 per annum, temporary until 28 September 2028.

Attend joiner repair appointments in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

Responsibilities

The Individual

This is a full time temporary post based at Housing Asset Services, Kilmarnock Depot, Burnside Street, Kilmarnock.

The hours of work are 37 per week to be worked as follows; Monday - Thursday 8.00 am - 4.00 pm Friday 8.00 am - 3.30 pm

The salary for this post is £34,324 - £36,748 per annum

This post is temporary until 28th September 2028.
