Job summary

East Ayrshire Council is offering a Modern Apprentice position in Business Administration, based at Burnside Street, Kilmarnock. The role is temporary for two years and open to residents of East Ayrshire who are 16–24, or up to 29 if care experienced or disabled, with structured learning and on‑the‑job support.

The pay is age-dependent: £10.85 per hour for 16–20 year-olds, £12.71 for 21–24 year-olds, and £13.45 for 25+ year-olds.

To provide business support to services within the Council function to an agreed learning contract in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

There are 2 posts available which are both temporary for 2 years.

The rate of pay for these posts is £10.85 per hour for 16-20 year olds, £12.71 for 21-24 year olds and £13.45 for 25+ year olds.

The admin base for these posts is Burnside Street, Kilmarnock, KA1 4EX.
