Henco Plumbing Services in The Dalles, OR, is seeking an HVAC Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems. You will troubleshoot coils, ducts, and electrical/mechanical faults while delivering high-quality service with safety in mind.

Qualifications

• 1+ yrs HVAC service experience required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Professionalism and good appearance.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment outdoors and perform pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, adjust and repair HVAC systems (reheat coils, air handling units, ducts, vents).
• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment to diagnose faults.
• Diagnose electrical/mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
• Identify maintenance risks and perform preventive upkeep.
• Deliver prompt emergency repairs when needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Log repairs in trade software (Service Titan).
• Communicate issue, solution and outcome to customers, and upsell where appropriate.

What You'll Do:

• Clean, adjust and repair HVAC systems- reheat coils, air handling units, duct work, vents, condensation drainage
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Track repairs and work completed in trade software, Service Titan
• Engage with customer/client to inform them of issue, solution and outcome; recommend products and services for optimal system performance

What You'll Bring:

• 1+ yrs. HVAC Service Experience
• An outstanding work ethic with excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• Professionalism, you take pride in your work and your appearance
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and work outdoors.
• Willing to submit to and pass pre-employment background check and drug test
