Job summary

Altus Hospice is seeking a Per Diem Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team serving Marble Falls and surrounding areas. You will provide hands-on care with dignity and respect, working closely with our nursing staff to meet physical, emotional, and personal needs.

Responsibilities include personalized patient care, assisting with daily activities, maintaining meticulous documentation, and supporting families during end‑of‑life care.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Current unencumbered CNA certification in the state.
• Minimum one year experience as a CNA in acute or long-term care; hospice exp a plus.
• CPR certification if state-mandated.
• Current drivers license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: Follow the plan of care to ensure comfort and well-being of patients and respond promptly to patient/family requests with compassion.
• Assist with Personal Care: Support patients with bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing.
• Be Dedicated to Customer Service: Deliver exceptional patient service and strive for high satisfaction.
• Provide Support for Families: Guide and support families caring for terminally ill loved ones.
• Maintain Accurate Documentation: Document care details per agency and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting. Hospice exp a plus!
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification if state‑mandated
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general posting guideline for the role and is not a fixed offer. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and the specific responsibilities of the position. The exact compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
