Altus Hospice is seeking a Part Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide hands-on care in patients' homes within the S Austin, Buda, Kyle, Wimberley and Bastrop area.

You will work with our nursing team to meet physical, emotional, and personal needs with respect and compassion, while supporting families and maintaining accurate home care documentation. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Holds current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state.
• Minimum one year CNA experience in acute or long-term care; hospice a plus.
• CPR certification if state-mandated.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: Follow the plan of care to ensure comfort and well‑being; promptly attend to patient and family requests with compassion.
• Assist with Personal Care: Support bathing, oral hygiene, bedding, clothing, and shampooing to preserve comfort and dignity.
• Be Dedicated to Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service and strive for optimal patient satisfaction.
• Provide Support for Families: Guide and support families caring for terminally ill loved ones.
• Maintain Accurate Documentation: Record details according to policy and regulatory standards.

Altus Hospice is seeking a Part Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team, providing hands‑on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. Working closely with our nursing team, you’ll ensure each patient’s physical, emotional, and personal needs are met with respect, empathy, and professionalism.

Schedule: Part Time 2-3 Days per Week

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting. Hospice exp a plus!
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification if state‑mandated
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

$17.00 - $21.00 per hour (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general posting guideline for the role and is not a fixed offer. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and the specific responsibilities of the position. The exact compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
