This field-based role requires 3+ years of make-ready experience, ability to work to inspection standards, and coordination with housing staff.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-clearance inspections and create punch lists.
  • Coordinate with housing staff on move-in and move-out dates.
  • Document room condition with photos for acceptance.
  • Inspect rooms for cleaning readiness and perform paint touch-ups and minor repairs.
  • Inventory furnishings and report damages.
  • Drive a service vehicle between buildings.

Job description

Summary

Fire Creek Services Company, an All Native Group company, is seeking a Room Turnover Technician to prepare barracks and housing rooms on the installation for room turnover between occupants, including pre-move inspections, punch lists and turnover repairs coordinated with housing occupancy schedules. This is an immediate opening.

Essential Functions

  • Perform pre-clearance inspections and create punch lists.
  • Complete or coordinate turnover repairs to the required room-readiness standard.
  • Coordinate with housing staff on move-in and move-out dates and keep turnover status visible.
  • Document room condition with photos for acceptance.
  • Check rooms against cleaning and readiness standards and complete paint touch-up and minor repairs.
  • Inventory room furnishings and fixtures and report damage or missing items.
  • Follow safe work practices, including PPE and ladder safety, and keep work areas clean.

Work Environment

Field-based work in barracks and housing facilities, including roofs, attics, mechanical rooms and occupied residential rooms.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Lifting up to 50 lb.
  • Climbing ladders.
  • Bending, kneeling and standing for extended periods.
  • Driving a service vehicle between buildings.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full-time and part-time positions available. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, daytime. Shifts may require some evening or weekend work, and this position participates in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency escalations as duty lead.

Travel

Daily local travel between buildings on the installation.

Experience

  • 3+ years of make-ready or unit turnover experience in multifamily, lodging or military housing.
  • Comfort working to inspection standards.

Preferred:

  • Punch-list inspection apps.
  • Light plumbing and electrical fixture work.
  • Knowledge of cleaning standards.
  • Experience with furniture and fixture inventory.
  • Experience working on Department of Defense (DoD) installations, contracts or programs is a plus.

Education

High school diploma or GED required

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • OSHA 10 certification required.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain installation access.
