Job summary

State Center Community College District is seeking an experienced administrator to coordinate the planning, development and implementation of employment services programs. The role involves evaluating service delivery, researching student and employer needs, and managing program metrics and compliance.

The position emphasizes collaboration with employers, government agencies and community partners to expand opportunities for students while maintaining alignment with district policies and funding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least four years of experience in employment or career services, placement or related programs.
• Experience coordinating programs, staff and budgets in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of district policies, codes and compliance requirements, including special program funding.
• Ability to analyze performance data, prepare reports and present findings to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning, development and delivery of employment services and job development programs.
• Oversee program compliance with federal, state and district rules and regulations.
• Develop workshops and resources to assist students with job search and internships.
• Collaborate with employers, government agencies and colleges to create opportunities.
• Prepare and analyze program data, metrics and budgets; monitor funding sources.
• Represent the department on committees and maintain program websites and communications.
