Responsibilities

• Implement the career placement funnel for short-term programs.
• Coordinate the employability validation process for each program.
• Develop and maintain a current employment pipeline.
• Identify prospective employers by industry sector and program alignment.
• Document all employer interactions and engagement activities.
• Coordinate student referrals to employment opportunities.
• Monitor student progress at each stage of the career placement funnel.
• Ensure that a documented intervention is recorded for every student.
• Coordinate applicable training in collaboration with the Professional Development and Licensing Manager.
• Generate reports on placement progress, execution, and student outcomes.
• Identify process deviations and recommend corrective action.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of documentation substantiating institutional compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Ensure that all placement activities align with the institutional Career Development and Placement policies

Job description

The Manager of Placement, Workforce Programs, executes the employability operating model for short-term programs within the Workforce Programs division. The role ensures that students progress through each stage of the career placement funnel, that employers are actively engaged and cultivated, and that all required documentation is completed consistently and in accordance with institutional, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
