Entrust Community Services in Washington State is seeking a compassionate Life Coach/Support Specialist to aid individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving independence and meaningful employment. You will provide training, monitor progress, and collaborate with supervisors to tailor supports across job sites and recreation centers.

The role emphasizes teamwork, detailed documentation, and flexible planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid Washington State driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• CPR/First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Strong English language skills; Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one training and support for individuals on job sites or at recreation centers; familiarize them with roles, policies, and co-workers.
• Facilitate orientation, training, and adjustment for participants.
• Teach self-management skills and mobility training; assist transportation to work.
• Collaborate with supervisors to implement and adjust training plans; utilize assistive equipment as needed.
• Conduct job and task analyses to support participants’ needs and modify workstations.
• Advocate for participants and promote their rights in the workplace.
• Maintain accurate records of participant progress and coordinate with Case Managers and Service Delivery Teams.
