Job summary

Entrust Community Services Pasco, WA is seeking a Community Support Specialist to provide individualized job coaching, training, and on-site support for participants with disabilities. You will orient participants, teach independent living skills, and collaborate with employers to promote workplace inclusion.

Responsibilities include developing training plans, documenting progress, advocating for participant rights, and assisting with transportation and community access.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of developmental disabilities, mental illness, and/or traumatic brain injuries.
• Behavior modification and training techniques.
• Job and workplace accommodations.
• Community resources and employment programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one job coaching and on-site support per participant plans.
• Orient new participants to work sites and community settings.
• Teach self-management and independent living skills.
• Deliver transportation and mobility training for community access.
• Develop training plans and adjust to participant goals.
• Document progress and maintain case notes.
• Collaborate with employers and coworkers to support inclusion.
