Job summary

Placement Partners is seeking an Employment Support Specialist to help adults with disabilities gain independence through meaningful employment and community involvement.

You will meet clients in the community, at workplaces, and occasionally in their homes to provide job coaching, career exploration, and life-skills training, collaborating with families and teams to support goals and needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18, have a high school diploma/GED, a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle, and proof of up-to-date auto insurance.
• Prior experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities in a social services field is not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals with disabilities explore career interests and secure competitive community employment.
• Provide resume creation, employer outreach, application assistance, interview prep, and job offer guidance.
• Deliver on-the-job coaching and mentoring including onboarding, transportation, and barrier resolution.
• Promote long-term employment retention through training, advocacy, and coordination with employers.
