Job summary

Entrust Community Services in Moses Lake, WA seeks a dedicated Community Support Specialist to provide training, advocacy, and on-site support for adults with barriers to employment and housing. You will empower individuals to succeed in integrated work environments and actively participate in their communities.

Responsibilities include one-on-one coaching, site orientation, and teaching daily living skills, plus collaborating with employers to promote inclusive workplaces and documenting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Experience in industrial or service-related work preferred.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License required; proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, one-on-one job coaching and on-site support based on participant service plans.
• Orient new participants to work sites and community settings.
• Teach self-management and independent living skills.
• Deliver transportation and mobility training to support community access.
• Develop, implement, and adjust training plans to meet participant goals.
• Train participants in job duties using safe, efficient, and structured techniques.
• Work with employers and teams to support workplace inclusion.
• Educate community members and employers on supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Promote independence by transitioning support to natural workplace supports.
• Track and document participant progress and reports.
