Forward Service Corporation (FSC) is seeking a Job Developer to build employer partnerships and connect job-ready participants with meaningful, unsubsidized employment. You will use labor market knowledge and placement strategies to help participants move from career goals to outcomes.

The role emphasizes employer outreach, collaboration with case managers, and managing Work Experience opportunities while maintaining accurate documentation and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with two years of related experience in job development, workforce development, sales, business development, case management, or related field.
• Knowledge of workforce development, employment services, recruiting, staffing, sales, business development, or HR and labor market trends.
• Strong coaching, networking, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to build effective relationships with participants, employers, and community partners.
• Ability to analyze participant strengths, develop individualized employment solutions, manage multiple priorities, and maintain quality documentation.
• Active driver’s license and insurability, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, database systems, and virtual meeting platforms; 30 words per minute with 95% accuracy.

• Collaborating with Case Managers and Skill Instructors to develop individualized employment placement strategies and support successful transitions into employment
• Conducting employer outreach, networking, job fairs, and business engagement activities while providing labor market guidance on hiring trends, wages, high-demand occupations, and employer expectations
• Developing and monitoring quality Work Experience opportunities, tracking participant progress, and maintaining timely, accurate documentation to support successful employment outcomes

Position: Job Developer

In this role, you will serve as FSC’s employment and employer engagement specialist, building strategic employer partnerships and connecting job-ready participants with meaningful employment and Work Experience opportunities. As a Job Developer, you will use labor market knowledge, employer outreach, and individualized placement strategies to help participants move from career goals to competitive, unsubsidized employment.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree with two years of related experience in job development, workforce development, sales, business development, case management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of workforce development, employment services, recruiting, staffing, sales, business development, or human resources, along with labor market trends and employer engagement strategies
• Strong coaching, networking, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with participants, employers, and community partners
• Ability to analyze participant strengths, develop individualized employment solutions, manage multiple priorities, and maintain quality documentation
• Active driver’s license and insurability, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, database systems, and virtual meeting platforms; ability to type at least 30 words per minute with 95% accuracy
