Job summary

Avita Property Management LLC is seeking a Leasing Agent to greet prospects, conduct tours, and close leases. You will manage applications, run credit checks, maintain records, and support marketing and on-site operations.

The role requires strong communication and sales skills, weekend availability, and proficiency with property management software. Office-based environment with resident interactions and property tours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• Prior real estate or leasing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and sales skills required.
• Occasional weekend work and flexible hours may be needed.
• Proficiency with property management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective tenants and respond to leasing inquiries in person, by phone, email, and online platforms.
• Conduct property tours and present features, amenities, and benefits.
• Qualify prospects, explain leasing terms, and close leases.
• Process rental applications, run background and credit checks, and prepare lease documents.
• Maintain accurate leasing records and update property management software.
• Follow up with prospects to maximize occupancy rates.
• Assist with move-ins and move-outs, including unit inspections and key distribution.
• Handle resident questions, concerns, and service requests professionally.
• Support marketing efforts such as online listings, signage, and community events.
• Ensure the leasing office and model units are clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Comply with Fair Housing laws and company policies at all times.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

College coursework in business, real estate, or hospitality

Prior Class A experience

Leasing, sales, customer service or real estate experience preferred
