Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Job Coach to provide comprehensive support for individuals with disabilities to achieve employment independence. The role includes assessing needs, creating plans, and offering job preparedness, placement, and retention training.

Essential duties cover on-the-job training, documentation per CARF standards, and collaboration with employers and referral agencies to facilitate successful employment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience working directly with individuals in rehabilitative or developmental disabilities.
• Strong problem solving skills and adaptability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background screen and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop on-the-job training strategies and provide direct instruction on worksites.
• Document assessments, progress, and reports per guidelines and CARF standards.
• Meet weekly billable to non-billable targets and manage scheduling to maintain profitability.
• Coordinate transportation to and from work sites for clients.
• Maintain professional relationships with employers, referral agencies, and community resources.
• Attend safety trainings and ensure a safe work environment for all clients.
