Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking a Job Coach to help people live, work and thrive through employment and supportive services. You will train on tasks, provide job coaching, coordinate transportation, and offer personal care as needed to participants.

This entry-level role focuses on guiding individuals, maintaining professional relationships with employers, and documenting services for each person served.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some higher education preferred.
• Entry level position; one year of work experience preferred.
• Must interact with varying levels of employer management professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site job coaching for supported participants.
• Guides and motivates individuals to perform their job; maintains a supportive role.
• Maintains open communication with employer management and co-workers regarding the vocational support plan.
• Assists employer in identifying barriers to employment.
• Promotes integration and natural support at places of employment.
• Communicates with the support team and Case Manager as directed.
• Maintains timely service documentation including hours and case notes.
• Provides personal care assistance as needed.
• Assists in coordinating transportation for persons served.
• Imparts disability-related education to employers and community contacts.
