AvonRisk is seeking a dynamic Job Coach to join our Cincinnati, OH team. The role provides service coordination to participants referred to Workforce Services and delivers on-site job coaching to individuals with disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, patience, and time-management skills, a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, and the ability to travel as needed. Experience with disabilities and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel are preferred.

We are seeking a dynamic Job Coach to join our team in the Cincinnati, OH area.

This role will provide Service Coordination to participants referred to Workforce Services by Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities office. This person will implement the company mission and abide by all AvonRisk Policies and Guidelines and those identified by the referral source to ensure that participants receive timely, efficient and quality services.

Requirements

• Understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act, how to request an accommodation and what is required to work with individuals who have disabilities including basic disabilities knowledge.
• Have good social and communication skills, patience, and time management skills.
• Demonstrate confidence, honesty and reliability with the ability to carry out professional code of ethics.
• Knowledge of the use of computers and basic office software (Word, Excel).
• Be goal oriented and highly organized.
• Provide on-site job coaching and teaching to individuals with disabilities. This includes the following:
• Contact or meet with participant on site or off site to provide on the job supports
• Implement hands on and/or supportive guidance to ensure that the individual successfully retains position secured and learns position duties
• Assure that the participant is compliant with the program, employment requirements and report to the VRC any significant issues
• Model professional behavior and teach employment-related soft skills
• Assure that the participant is compliant with the program and report to the VRC any significant issues
• Complete legible well written reports on each case in accordance with requirements specified by the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation in the Vocational Rehabilitation Provider Manual.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 2 years' experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and willing to travel.
• Must have excellent communication skills, demonstrate patience and have the ability to manage time effectively.
