Job summary

Elwyn is seeking dedicated staff to provide direct job support, coaching and development for individuals with disabilities. This per diem role offers the chance to coordinate service plans, job placements and on-the-job training while fostering independence and skills growth in a supportive setting.

You will work closely with clients, families and employers to identify opportunities, prepare resumes, and guide interview readiness. A positive team mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency required; associates degree preferred.
• One year experience in rehabilitation or related field preferred.
• Experience in workplace development, case management, or sales preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be able to perform CPR and crisis intervention techniques.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and database experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients to match employment interests with skills using profiles and assessments.
• Assist clients in resumes and interview preparation; coordinate with employers.
• Lead team development and review client service plans with progress updates.
• Provide on-the-job training with clear milestones and progress tracking.
• Offer coaching and supportive counseling to promote interpersonal skills and workplace integration.
• Develop employer relationships to secure real-work opportunities for clients.
• Coordinate client transportation and travel training as needed.
• Document billable hours for job development and coaching.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders; adapt to schedules.
