Job summary

Clarity Care is seeking a Job Coach to provide ongoing support to individuals in community employment settings. You will coach clients, deliver training, and help them achieve independence through personalized guidance and group sessions.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid WI driver’s license, and successful background checks. A positive, energetic candidate with passion for helping this population will thrive.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma/equivalent and be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Must pass Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check and applicable state checks.
• Experience working with people with physical or mental disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive role model and coach, helping clients build problem-solving and independent living skills.
• Learn each client’s needs and support them in meeting goals in their employment setting.
• Provide training, demonstrations, and guidance individually and in group sessions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the clients and employers.
• Teach and encourage clients to pursue their goals through self-direction and effective decision-making.
• Monitor and document client behaviors in the workplace.

The Job Coach must be a skilled communicator, empathetic listener, and excellent problem solver, with the ability to help clients achieve their desired goals. Must provide proof of autoinsurance.Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Check including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks,and/or that of previous states of residence.Knowledge of and ability to intervene appropriately in crisis prevention and de-escalation when necessary.Experience working with people who have physical and mental disabilities.
