Job summary

Clarity Care in Wisconsin is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our nonprofit team. Starting pay up to $18/hr based on experience, with weekend shift premium and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with varying abilities.

As a Caregiver, you will provide direct care, assist with daily living activities, manage documentation, and help maintain a safe, clean home environment. No experience required; paid training and room for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma/equivalent and/or related work value.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid WI driver’s license and meet driving standards.
• Must provide proof of auto insurance.
• Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Hands on caregiving. Direct care support including bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene per service plan.
• Assist with mobility and safe transfer/ambulation techniques.
• Guide members toward goals through self-direction and decision making.
• Complete all necessary documentation for assigned tasks.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, welcoming group home; housekeeping and laundry.
• Prepare and serve meals according to nutritional guidelines and dietary needs.
• Assist with community activities and outings.
