Job summary

Community Access Services (CAS) is hiring a Full‑Time Job Coach to support adults with IDD as they gain confidence and succeed in competitive employment in The Dalles, OR. Training is provided; no prior Job Coach experience is required.

Responsibilities include one‑on‑one coaching, promoting independence, and documenting progress while fostering safe, respectful work environments across Hood River and Wasco counties. Travel is expected as part of community placement support.

Qualifications

• No previous Job Coach experience is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to become an approved company driver.
• Ability to pass a national background check.

Job Title: Job Coach (Full-Time) Location: The Dalles, OR Pay: $21.75–$22.75 per hour (DOE)

Community Access Services (CAS) is hiring a Full‑Time Job Coach to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) as they gain confidence and succeed in competitive employment throughout the community.

What You’ll Be Doing

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving, education, coaching, human services, or direct support is helpful but not required
• Spanish/English bilingual preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to become an approved company driver
• Ability to pass a national background check
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed
• Willingness to travel throughout Hood River and Wasco counties
