Job summary

Boulder County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Full-time MAT Coordinator to lead the Jail MAT program, coordinate referrals, and ensure continuity of care for inmates with opioid use disorder.

The role requires expertise in MAT, Medicaid coordination, medical integration, and collaboration with behavioral health, medical staff, and community partners to support evidence-based treatment in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of opioid use disorder, SUDs, MAT, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive substance use assessments and develop treatment plans.
• HIPAA confidentiality and secure documentation in EHR.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Jail MAT (JMAT) program and refer to internal treatment services.
• Educate inmates on MAT, recovery principles, overdose prevention, and program expectations.
• Verify Medicaid eligibility and coordinate enrollment to minimize interruptions.
