Job summary

Magna International Limited, Cosma International group, seeks a Production and Inventory Control supervisor to optimize scheduling and material handling across the plant. The role emphasizes TS16949/ISO14001 compliance and on-time delivery through effective master scheduling and cross-functional coordination.

You will manage direct reports, ensure safe working conditions, and align production with customer demand while continuously improving processes within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting or Management.
• 2-3 years supervisory experience (or 5-8 years without a degree).
• Experience in production scheduling and inventory control in manufacturing, preferably automotive.

Responsibilities

• Manage Production and Inventory Control to support JIT manufacturing with on-time delivery.
• Handle, store, pack, preserve and deliver material per control plans (TS16949 & ISO14001).
• Control inventory levels to ensure JIT supply of quality product.
• Schedule production operations for maximum efficiency.
• Coordinate with direct reports to complete tasks on time.
• Lead housekeeping and safety compliance with SH&E procedures.
• Translate weekly demand into master schedule for stamping/assembly.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering on trial builds and new programs.
