Job summary

Magna Cosma International seeks a production scheduling and inventory control supervisor to optimize JIT manufacturing, drive on-time delivery, and coordinate scheduling for stamping and assembly.

The role requires 2–3 years of supervisory experience or 5–8 years without a degree, and experience with MRP/MRP II systems. Strong English communication and the ability to work evenings/weekends are essential. Located in Clinton, TN with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the activities of Production and Inventory Control to support JIT manufacturing with effective scheduling of customer-driven releases and on-time delivery.
  • Handle, store, pack, preserve and deliver materials per control plans under TS16949 & ISO14001; initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Control all inventory levels to ensure JIT supply of quality product; schedule production for maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate direct reports and ensure timely completion of tasks; manage physical inventories to meet goals.
  • Translate weekly demand into master schedule for stamping and assembly; coordinate trial builds and new program start-ups.
  • Enforce SH&E procedures; support safety performance metrics and training; liaise with OSHA/ EPA as needed.
