Job summary

Custom Software Systems, Inc. (CSS) seeks a DevOps Engineer (Jira Platform Engineer) to own our Jira SaaS for government cloud, integrating it within our enterprise tech stack.

You will consolidate planning tools during the migration from Azure DevOps and GitLab on‑prem to Jira AGC SaaS, enabling scalable Agile practices across the organization. The role demands strong Agile, DevSecOps, and enterprise integration capabilities, with experience in automation and secure data flows across systems

Qualifications

• Three or more years administering Jira (Self-hosted or SaaS).
• Experience integrating Jira with enterprise platforms (GitLab, ServiceNow).
• At least four years in DevOps Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and integrate the Jira SaaS for government cloud within the enterprise ecosystem.
• Transition tooling from Azure DevOps and GitLab to Jira Atlassian Government Cloud SaaS for government.
• Develop secure integrations between Jira and core systems (e.g., ServiceNow, GitLab).
• Automate data synchronization and ensure traceability from planning to release.
• Collaborate with security and infra teams to meet compliance standards.
