Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Technical Product Coordinator to manage Jira backlog, support execution planning for product improvements, and serve as a liaison between engineering, leadership, and customers. This role combines backlog management, execution planning, stakeholder communication, and Jira administration.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years IT experience, 1+ year in program management, and strong Jira expertise including Advanced Roadmaps, automation, dashboards, and release

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of IT experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of program management experience.
• Expertise in project management.
• Advanced experience with Jira, including Advanced Roadmaps, automation, workflow configuration, dashboards and release tracking.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the team's Jira backlog, ensuring work items are properly written, prioritized, labeled, and groomed.
• Facilitate backlog refinement sessions with engineering and product stakeholders.
• Ensure epics, stories, and tasks are appropriately scoped, sequenced, and linked to broader initiatives.
• Monitor sprint and cycle health, identify blockers, and maintain accurate status reporting.
• Establish and maintain ticket hygiene standards, including naming conventions, acceptance criteria, and DoD.
• Build and manage Jira automation rules to streamline workflows.
• Design and maintain Jira dashboards that provide visibility into sprint health, velocity, burndown/burnup, and cumulative flow.
• Build and manage project timelines and roadmaps to visualize cross-team dependencies and milestones.
• Create filters, saved searches, and reports using Jira Query Language (JQL).
• Maintain data integrity and consistent ticket management across projects.
• Partner with engineering leads and product owners to develop product improvement roadmaps.
• Translate priorities into actionable execution plans with milestones and ownership.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and resource gaps across workstreams.
• Track progress and communicate schedule risks.
• Facilitate planning activities, including sprint planning, roadmap reviews, and retrospectives.
• Serve as a point of contact for customer communications related to product updates and timelines.
• Gather and organize customer feedback into backlog items.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and prepare status updates and release notes.
