Job Title: JIRA Administrator

Clearance: Secret

Location: Remote work Authorized

Foxhole Technology is seeking a JIRA Administrator to join our growing team in support of Security Operations Center on a newly awarded contract. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a network security environment, such as a Security Operations Center (SOC), Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT), Computer Incident Response Center (CIRC) or Cyber Security Incident Response Center (CSIRC).






Job Description




As part of the Engineering team, the JIRA Administrator will:

    Conduct requirement gathering sessions for improvement and/or customization of ticketing systems
  • Assist in the planning, design, documenting, testing and implementation of code changes within the customized ticket system

  • Integrate Jira with other systems via API and other technologies as required

  • Provide subject matter expertise on Atlassian tools, specifically JIRA

  • Handle development for JIRA Data Center, including JIRA work Management (JWM), JIRA Service Management (JSM), and Insight (Asset)

  • Have experience with customizing and creating workflows for JIRA

  • Have experience in the installation and upgrading of the Jira application, prefereably in a clustered environment

  • Leverage experience with scripting languages, Jira, and Confluence to support process automation

  • Develop automation processes for Application Catalogs and workflows between applications

  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues with JIRA applications and plugin

  • Support the KM Plan through review and/or contribution as needed to support security engineering tasks and activities






Minimum Requirements




  • Minimum six (6) years IT experience

  • Qualified candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a SOC type operation for a government or commercial client

  • Have a thorough knowledge of the entire Jira stack, to include middleware (tomcat) and database (postgresql)
  • BS Degree or additional work experience substitution





Desired Experience/Certifications




  • Strong Linux admin skills
  • Ability to install/upgrade/maintain Jira on a Cluster Environment
  • General AWS Knowledge
  • Ability to Install/Upgrade/Maintain a DB Cluster in the Cloud
  • Web Application Firewall Administration
  • Working knowledge of Jira Load Testing tools like Gatling, New Relic
