Job summary

VIP Hospitality LLC is hiring Part-Time Airport Customer Service Ambassadors at JFK International Airport. You will guide passengers, provide information, and manage queues across Terminal 4, primarily at checkpoints and international arrivals. Flexible shifts, including nights and holidays, are available.

Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1+ year airport customer service or 2+ years in a customer-facing role. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

About the Role

As a Part‑Time Customer Service Ambassador, you will seek out opportunities to guide, support, and provide information to passengers, visitors, and airport employees throughout Terminal 4, primarily at airport checkpoints and international arrivals.

You may find yourself providing directions and wayfinding assistance, organizing passenger queues, helping maintain orderly lines, directing travelers through established processes, guiding groups toward more efficient alternatives, and reporting facility or stakeholder concerns to help ensure a positive airport experience.

When working as part of a small team, you may also be asked to help coordinate tasks, provide feedback, or serve as a point of contact within your assigned area.

What We Offer You

Selected applicants will start at a minimum of $21.25 per hour.

Eligible team members may participate in medical, dental, and vision insurance options. Qualified team members will automatically be enrolled in a matching 401(k) plan after 90 days unless they choose to opt out. Sick time and vacation/PTO accruals are also available based on individual eligibility.

Qualifying team members may also be eligible for a company‑paid airport parking pass. Overnight shifts and designated holidays may qualify for differential or premium pay rates.

Part‑Time Work Hours

We are currently hiring part‑time Customer Service Ambassadors across all shifts, including:

• Morning and daytime shifts
• Afternoon and evening shifts
• Overnight shifts
• Weekday and weekend schedules
• Holiday coverage as needed

Specific schedules and weekly hours may vary based on operational needs. Candidates with flexible availability are encouraged to apply; however, availability for every shift is not required.

Because JFK Airport operates around the clock, applicants should clearly indicate their preferred availability during the application and interview process.

Who Will Be Most Successful in This Role

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet one of the following experience requirements:

• At least one (1) year of customer service experience at a medium- or large‑hub airport, or
• At least two (2) years of customer service experience in another customer‑facing environment

Successful candidates should be comfortable working in a fast‑paced airport environment, communicating with a diverse traveling public, remaining professional under pressure, and actively assisting passengers throughout their shift.

Bilingual or multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Preferred languages include those commonly used by passengers and airport stakeholders, including Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, and French Creole.

Candidates must provide documentation establishing authorization to work in the United States.

Because this position operates within an international airport, employment is also contingent upon successfully completing all requirements necessary to obtain and maintain an airport identification badge, including applicable background checks and post‑offer drug screening requirements.
