Job summary

Shane Co. in Walnut Creek, CA, is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the sales team, drive top-line growth, and enhance the customer and employee experience.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will supervise staff, coach, and collaborate with leadership to meet store goals and uphold our brand standards. This on-site leadership role requires at least 2 years of supervisory experience, evening/weekend availability, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience managing, leading, developing, training and/or supervising others.
• Evening and weekend availability is required.
• Direct knowledge of selling techniques with strong face-to-face sales experience.
• Retail sales or hospitality experience is preferred with ability to present features and benefits.
• Strong communication, feedback, listening and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English; spelling and grammar are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in driving top line sales by supervising, coaching, and directing the sales staff.
• Engage with customers on the sales floor to provide an exceptional in-store experience.
• Collaborate with Store Visual Merchandiser on presentation and storytelling standards.
• Participate in store management meetings and shop operations.
• Perform opening/closing duties and manage customer repairs and warranty write-ups.
