Job summary

Fred Meyer Jewelers seeks a dedicated store supervisor to lead a location, drive revenue, and motivate the sales team. You’ll train staff, manage inventories, and ensure safety with adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field with relevant retail jewelry experience preferred
• Experience in personnel selection and onboarding processes
• Proven ability to manage costs, inventory, and shrinkage

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior and lead by example to deliver superior service
• Achieve growth and sales targets by managing the store sales team
• Maintain profitability through sales and expense controls
• Interview, hire and recruit to keep a qualified candidate pool
• Onboard, train and oversee development of store staff for advancement
• Reach store targets like credit applications and protection plans
• Conduct regular staff meetings and periodic one-on-one touch bases
• Coach direct reports and conduct performance reviews
• Coordinate store operations and inventory planning
• Display merchandise per corporate plans and maintain fixtures
• Prepare and manage store schedules
• Ensure proper service from goldsmith and watchmaker
• Keep price changes and stock balances up-to-date
• Share market trends and competitive insights with associates
• Collaborate with host store in Kroger Marketplace locations
• Maintain flexibility for shifts and holidays
• Travel to off-site trainings and meetings
• Perform essential functions with/without accommodations

Bachelor's degree in business or related field; 6 months as Fred Meyer Jewelers assistant manager

2 years of retail jewelry experience; or combination of relevant education and experience

18+ years of age
