Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field
• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Fred Meyer Jewelers assistant manager
• 2 years of retail jewelry experience or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass drug test
• Maintain confidentiality
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to organize/prioritize multiple tasks
• Familiarity with industry terms and processes
• Valid driver’s license
• DCA courses completed within a year of hire

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior and promote excellent customer service
• Achieve growth and sales targets by leading the store sales team
• Maintain store profitability through sales and proper shrink and expense control
• Interview and hire to maintain a pool of qualified candidates
• Onboard, train and develop store associates for advancement
• Drive store targets (credit apps, protection plans, events)
• Conduct regular staff meetings and individual check-ins
• Coach and manage direct reports and conduct performance reviews
• Coordinate store operations and inventory processes
• Display merchandise per corporate plans and maintain fixtures
• Write and manage store schedules
• Ensure service quality by goldsmith and watchmaker
• Communicate market trends and competitor activity
• Collaborate with host store in Kroger Marketplace format
• Maintain flexibility for shifts and holidays
• Travel to off-site training and meetings
• Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
