Job summary

Fred Meyer Jewelers is seeking a capable supervisor to support the store manager in Salem, OR, and to step in during their absence. You will lead the sales team, drive growth, and maximize store performance while delivering a high-quality jewelry shopping experience in-store and online.

You will inspire exceptional customer service, manage scheduling, and help maintain promotional standards. The role emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and a passion for luxury jewelry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 6 months Fred Meyer experience and 1 year jewelry sales experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age and ability to pass drug test.
• Maintain confidentiality and attention to detail; able to organize priorities.
• DCA courses completed within a year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior and deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain profitability through sales and expense control.
• Achieve personal sales targets by turning moments into celebrations with jewelry experiences.
• Assist with training and onboarding of sales professionals.
• Foster clienteling to build emotional connections with customers.
• Display merchandise per corporate plans and promotions.
• Advise customers on quality, cuts, and value of jewelry and gems.
• Provide product knowledge and benefits to customers.
• Estimate repairs and inspect/clean jewelry.
• Perform watch battery replacements and band adjustments.
• Assist with operations coordination and scheduling.
• Support time and attendance and back-up coverage at other locations.
