Job summary

Day’s Jewelers in Augusta, ME is seeking a Jewelry Service Consultant to support the sales department with POS transactions, repair intake, and service tracking, including engraving and battery replacements.

This hourly, non-exempt role requires strong communication, conflict resolution, and computer skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while upholding Day’s Repair and Layaway standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two+ years’ experience in a retail customer-service-related role (jewelry preferred).
• JA, DCA, and GIA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide service department support for repairs and layaway maintenance.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and customer communication.
• Ensure repairs are logged and tracked, and items are properly received and shipped.
• Maintain adherence to Day's Repair Triaging Standards and customer satisfaction.
