Job summary

Day’s Jewelers seeks a Jewelry Service Consultant to care for customers and support the sales team with POS transactions, jewelry restoration, repair, service intake and tracking.

You will perform minor repairs such as engraving and battery replacement, manage repairs and layaway, and ensure excellent communication. This hourly, non-exempt role reports to the Store Manager and offers incentive eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two+ years’ experience in a retail customer-service-related role.
• Jewelry experience and JA/DCA/GIA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for customers and support the sales department for POS transactions, jewelry restoration, repair, service intake and tracking.
• Perform minor repairs such as engraving and battery replacement.
• Process credit and layaway payments and monitor repair progress.
• Follow repair intake standards and ensure accurate, timely updates.
