Job summary

Saks is seeking a Jewelry Operations Associate to support all operational functions in the Jewelry Department. Responsibilities include processing new merchandise, returns to vendors, transfers, repairs, and trunk shows, plus ensuring inventory accuracy and duties on the sales floor.

The role requires quick system learning, jewelry knowledge, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Full-time position with benefits and opportunities across luxury retail operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to learn systems, jewelry standards, and IT applications.
• Strong audience engagement and strategic thinking.
• Willingness to support daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and properly book all jewelry in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure all merchandise is entered into the case count system after it has been received.
• Retrieve and process all merchandise to be returned to the vendor or transferred with tracking numbers.
• Maintain a repair log and track repairs sent to the vendor or local shop.
• Submit repair invoices to Accounts Payable with proper documentation.
• Receive merchandise for trunk shows and verify count and condition against manifest.
• Assist trunk show setup/take-down and recap results.
• Ensure case counts are completed and discrepancies reconciled.
• Reticket merchandise with unreadable tags.
• Prepare special order requests and submit to buyers.
• Assist Selling Manager on the selling floor as needed.
