Job summary

Diamonds Direct in New York City seeks a Jewelry Concierge to join our fast-growing team. The role handles custom orders, liaises with designers and vendors, and delivers exceptional service in a busy environment.

You will quote prices, manage the custom order process from start to finish, and collaborate with a diverse team. Travel to shows is required, and base pay ranges from $25 to $30 per hour. Experience with CAD requests, Excel, and Photoshop is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ yrs jewelry industry experience.
• 1+ yrs experience with custom jobs.
• Basic CAD cost-quoting understanding.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Proficiency in Photoshop.
• Able to work with a diverse team.
• Travel at least three times per year.
• Resident of NY Tri-State area.

Responsibilities

• Submit and verify custom orders with vendors within a time-frame.
• Oversee the Custom Order Process from start to finish.
• Calculate and quote prices for custom pieces.
• Interact regularly with vendors and customers.
• Check order status, maintain quoted time frames, and resolve issues.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Jewelry Concierge to join the fastest growing jewelry company in the country. This job will be located in New York City and the position will be based in a fast-paced environment with multiple requests coming in on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurately submitting/verifying custom orders with vendors within a specified time-frame
• Oversee the Special/Custom Order Process start to finish
• Calculate and quote prices
• Interact with both the vendors and the customers on a regular basis
• Custom Order Specialist checks the status of orders, maintains quoted time frames, and handles any potential issues

Requirements

• Must have 1+ yrs jewelry industry experience
• Must have 1+ yrs of experience with custom jobs
• Must have basic understanding of placing CAD requests with designers, vendors and knowledge of reading CAD to get cost for pieces
• Must be able to pass knowledge assessment during interview process
• Knowledgeable in Excel
• Knowledgeable in Photoshop
• Ability to work well with a team of diverse personalities
• Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing a plus
• Must be able to travel to shows a minimum of three times per year
• Must Live in New York Tri-State area
