Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Assembly and Test Mechanic for a 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, midnight–7:00am). You will lay out, fabricate, assemble and modify jet engine assemblies, test stands, and support systems, using a wide array of power and mechanical tools.

You will also train teammates and ensure proper documentation and safety compliance. Responsibilities include performing inspections, reconfiguring test stands, troubleshooting instrumentation, and preparing test articles for delivery,

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• 1+ years of formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.
• 1+ years of automotive training or experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures, drawings, operation sheets and instructions.
• Assemble, modify jet engine assemblies, test articles and support systems using a wide range of tools.
• Monitor instrumentation, perform engine service during test and ensure quality and safety standards.
