Job summary

Pratt & Whitney seeks an Assembly and Test Inspector for our MRO Commercial Engine Center in Florida. This is a 2nd shift role, Monday–Friday, 3:30pm to midnight, with a 10% shift differential. You will inspect engine assemblies and components using a range of tools and procedures.

Responsibilities include dimensional and visual checks, working from written procedures and drawings, and determining disposition of material. A&P license and related experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.
• Experience with aerospace inspection is preferred.
• A&P license and borescope experience are advantages.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Use power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections per methods and drawings.
• Verify accuracy with fixed and variable measuring instruments and automated CMMs.
• Accept or reject material based on findings and documentation.
